This piece was started a couple of months ago. The dark green is a plain weave, and the pattern is from Friends of Handwoven, A Weaver’s Book of Eight Shaft Patterns. I'm very tempted to go off piste with this one. I love the structure of hand weaving; it keeps me concentrating. It is so easy to make a mistake, especially with such a small design. 29/05
This is my tapestry weaving, which I've talked about in my blog. It is very slow, but every time I check to see how I am getting on with its growth, I am quite amazed. Weaving takes you into another dimension. This piece is so random; it evolves as I work on it with no particular plan or idea in mind. It's quite a lot of fun working, or should I say, playing, like this....29/05
These small cushions, recently finished, were so much fun to make, stuffed with 100% sheep’s wool, making them really squishy! Very decorative and opulent, they would look great on a chair in a boudoir or child’s room. There are a variety of cushions like this available in my Etsy shop https://wovenanddyed.etsy.com there are lots of other things to look at and purchase. 29/05
